Jensen Beach High School concert
hits charitable note
PRESS RELEASE DATE: DEC. 4, 2009
The award-winning Jensen
Beach High School Band Program will perform its
annual Holiday Charity Concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 17
in the school’s auditorium, 2875 NW Goldenrod
Road.
General admission may be
obtained at the door with a donation of canned
goods or a $5 donation. All proceeds will be
donated to House of Hope and the Toys for Tots
program.
“All are invited to share
in the holiday spirit of giving and also enjoy
some wonderful music,” said Kevin Landry of the
Band Booster Club.
The concert will include:

The JBHS Jazz Ensemble
performing jazz and holiday selections by
Gordon Goodwin, Pat Metheny and the Stan
Kenton Orchestra.

The JBHS Concert
Ensemble performing symphonic and holiday
selections by Leroy Anderson, Robert
Longfield and Mannheim Steamroller.

Performances by the
JBHS Percussion Section and JBHS Color
Guard.

A grand finale by the
JBHS Marching Band performing “Into the
Storm.”
