Celebrity Bartenders on tap
for House of Hope
PRESS RELEASE DATE: MARCH 12, 2010
MORE INFO
Fun, friendship and
philanthropy are on tap Tuesday, March 23 at
Taste Casual Dining in Hobe Sound, as the
restaurant hosts the Second Annual Celebrity
Bartenders event to benefit House of Hope.
Admission is free for the
event, which is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
March 23 at Taste, 11750 SE Dixie Hwy. – next
door to the House of Hope branch in Hobe Sound.
The public is invited to
stop by and support the illustrious community
leaders who will pour beer & wine to earn "Tips
for Hope." The evening also will feature
raffles, an auction and a few surprises.
A special guest will be
Jupiter Island Police Chief Ted Gonzales, who
will patrol the party, ready to lock up
dastardly do-gooders and rebellious benefactors
– all in the spirit of fund-raising and fun.
The tentative lineup of
celebrity bartenders includes:
-
Cindy Atkinson of
Scooters.
-
Jennifer Ferrari of
Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce.
-
Harry MacArthur of
Harry & the Natives.
-
Dan Mackin,
world-renowned artist from Hobe Sound.
-
Allola McGraw, Hobe
Sound's "own" fun philanthropist
extraordinaire.
-
J.C. Snead,
professional golfer and Hobe Sound resident.
All tips and donations
received during the event will go directly to
House of Hope. The restaurant’s owners, Karen &
Craig Kingston, also will donate a portion of
the proceeds from beverage and food sales.
The fund-raiser will help
House of Hope provide food, clothing, financial
assistance and life-changing case management
services to Martin County residents in need –
including families with children, senior
citizens and people going through sudden life
crises.
