House of Hope is Census
assistance site
PRESS RELEASE DATE: MARCH 19, 2010
The Stuart
location of House of Hope has been selected as
an Authorized Census Questionnaire Assistance
Center.
Census worker
Christine Tufts will be stationed in the House
of Hope food warehouse at 2484 SE Bonita St., 11
a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday from March 19 through
April 19.
All
questionnaire assistance centers are equipped to
field questions about the Census, the
questionnaire and hand out replacement forms.
Guides can be provided in 59 languages, along
with large-print forms.
The
questionnaire assistance centers are important
to help raise the return rate of forms and thus
give a clearer picture of services needed in a
given area.
House of Hope
will refer its clients needing assistance and
encourages other area groups to inform people
about this free assistance and the importance of
the Census.
