Courtyard lecture series
inspires health, hope

The Courtyard
Women’s Lifestyle Lecture Series to benefit
House of Hope premieres on Jan. 20 with a look
at "Opening Gateways to Vibrant Health,
Naturally."
This “party with
a purpose” will be held 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Jan. 20 at the Courtyard Grill, 11970 SE Dixie
Hwy., Hobe Sound.
The series is
being presented by the Courtyard Grill and
Cottage Caché located in historic Hobe Sound,
with proceeds going to House of Hope, a
nonprofit agency that provides food, clothing,
case management and emergency financial
assistance to Martin County people in need
Ticket price is
$35, and reservations can be made by calling
Janie Waggener at (561) 371-9035. Seating is
limited.
The Courtyard
Women’s Lifestyle Lecture Series will run on the
third Wednesday of each month January through
April. Each two-hour session will feature an
educational and inspirational presentation by a
respected local woman in her field of expertise.
The guest
speaker of the Jan. 20 luncheon is Dr. Joan
Barice, whose topic will be "Opening Gateways to
Vibrant Health, Naturally."
Dr. Barice is a
board-certified physician in internal and
preventive medicine and public health. She is
ASAM-certified in addiction medicine, with
emphasis on prevention and integrative medicine.
She has a special interest in nutrition,
acupuncture and therapeutic essential oils. Her
goal is to inform and empower people to take
good care of their health.
