Girl Scouts enlist Regency Cinema
in food drive for House of Hope

The Girl Scouts in Martin County have arranged with Regency Cinema for a “Movies for Food” promotion.

Anyone who brings a nonperishable food item to the theater, 2448 SE Federal Hwy., Stuart, for any performance on Monday, March 29, may purchase a popcorn-and-soda package for $2.50 (about $1.50 in savings).

The Girl Scouts also have a food collection continuing throughout the month at Winn Dixie stores in Martin County.

The main part of the Girl Scouts food drive, conducted door-to-door on March 13, brought in nearly 3,000 pounds of food to House of Hope.
