House of Hope has a grand day
in Hobe Sound
PRESS RELEASE DATE: JULY 26, 2010
House of Hope’s new Hobe Sound neighbors made
July 10 a special day and helped to raise
people’s awareness about the agency’s new
location at 8994 SE Bridge Road.
In May, House of Hope moved
its Hobe Sound branch
to the Boehringer Building on Hobe Sound’s “main
street” to offer a more visible and
convenient location for clients and customers.
After a period of settling
in and road construction, the branch held a
“grand opening” on July 10, in conjunction with
an open house conducted by its business
neighbors.
Barbara Boehringer, who owns the building and
inspired the efforts of her tenants, many of
whom held an open house to welcome House of Hope
and to introduce themselves to the local
community: Cindy Boyer Photography, Countess
Nadia Starella, EmmaB Jewelry & Design, Renata
Metelska Fine Arts, The Skin Inn, Skyy Della,
and Always Best Care Senior Services.
Prestige Landscape & Nursery, 6700 SE Bridge
Rd., added a splash of color by providing an
abundance of palms, plants and flowering bushes
to beautify the landscape.
The open house also coincided with the big Hobe
Sound Barbecue Festival, which brought hundreds
of people past the House of Hope, many of whom
stopped to shop at the resale store or to
promise a return visit with donations.
House of Hope provides
food, clothing, household necessities, financial
assistance and case management for Martin County
residents in need. The agency also has locations
in Stuart, Indiantown and Jensen Beach.
