PRESS RELEASE DATE: NOV. 15, 2010
House of Hope’s Resale
Shoppe in Stuart has been transformed into a
Christmas wonderland, filled with bargains and
beautiful displays of merchandise.
House of Hope is offering
thrifty shoppers a way to stock up for the
holidays and help people in need at the same
time.
The agency’s Stuart
location – at 2484 SE Bonita St., Stuart (the
corner of Dixie Highway and Bonita) – is filled
with Christmas decorations, cards, bows,
ornaments, wreaths, ceramics, trees, gifts and
much more. The inventory changes as donations
come in and items are sold.
The Stuart store is open 9
a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on
Saturdays. The store will be closed for the
Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 25-28.
The income House of Hope
receives from store sales is more important than
ever as more people seek help from the agency.
Declining jobs and rising prices are plunging
more and more families into crisis, as seen by
the surge in requests for food and emergency
financial assistance at House of Hope over the
past two years.
By shopping at any of the
House of Hope resale stores – Hobe Sound,
Indiantown and Jensen Beach as well as Stuart --
people can save money and find treasures -- all
while helping Martin County residents with
life’s basic necessities.
