Volunteers' celebration brings gifts
for House of Hope

PRESS RELEASE DATE: JULY 26, 2010

To mark their 50th wedding anniversary, Harry and Muriel White combined their devotion to each other with their dedication to House of Hope.

Harry and Muriel volunteer regularly in the Stuart food pantry of House of Hope. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Stuart on June 27. In the invitation to their guests, they wrote: “A gift to the House of Hope is a gift for us.”

Their 35 guests showed their appreciation by giving a total of $695 – gifts that mean a lot to Harry and Muriel as well as to House of Hope and the community as a whole.

House of Hope provides food, clothing, household necessities, financial assistance and case management for Martin County residents in need. The agency has locations in Stuart, Hobe Sound Indiantown and Jensen Beach.

People can learn more about House of Hope at www.hohmartin.org or by calling (772) 286-4673.
