House of Hope expanding store hours
PRESS RELEASE DATE: OCT. 26, 2011
The House of Hope thrift
store at its main Stuart location will be
re-opening on Saturdays, and all four locations
will be open expanded hours throughout the week.
Effective Oct. 29, the House of Hope thrift
store at Stuart, 2484 S.E. Bonita St., will be
open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 9
a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Saturday. The Stuart food pantry and office
hours remain 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Effective Nov. 1, the branch locations will be
open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday; 10:30
a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The branches
are closed on Sunday and Monday.
The House of Hope branch locations are Hobe
Sound, 11690 S.E. Federal Hwy.; Indiantown,
15516 Osceola St.; and Jensen Beach, 1090 N.E.
Jensen Beach Blvd. Each of the branch locations
also operates a food pantry and provides access
to the agency’s overall services.
House of Hope depends on its thrift stores for
almost one-third of the agency’s income,
supporting programs that include case
management, financial assistance and food
pantries. Also, many clothing and furniture
items are provided free to eligible Martin
County residents in need.
