Bite Into History:
The Longest Cuban Sandwich Ever Made

Get ready to be part of history! Join us on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at L. Cpl. Justin Wilson Memorial Park in Palm City for a one-of-a-kind community event hosted by House of Hope and Old Havana Cafe. The event kicks off at 11:00 AM, with sandwich building officially beginning at 12:00 PM.

This exciting family-friendly event will bring the community together for a day of food, fun, and connection as we attempt to break the world record by building the longest Cuban sandwich ever made at 400 feet long! Guests are invited to come cheer on the sandwich builders, enjoy the fun, and witness an incredible community effort come to life.

Spectator admission is free, making this a perfect event for individuals and families! Cuban sandwich portions will be available for purchase once the building concludes.

The event's Presenting Sponsor, the Doris M. Carter Family Foundation, has pledged to double every donor's impact in the community by matching every donation made through the event up to $15,000!

More than just breaking records, this event supports the mission of House of Hope and its efforts to empower our community to overcome hunger and hardship through healthy food access, education, financial assistance, workforce development, and other essential support services. Every registration, sponsorship, and donation helps keep these vital programs available for local individuals and families in need.

Join us for an exciting day filled with community spirit, delicious food, and unforgettable memories as we come together to make history — one foot at a time!
