House of Hope debuts new outdoor classroom at Golden Gate Center for Enrichment

House of Hope unveiled its new Golden Gate Center for Enrichment Outdoor Classroom on Feb. 8, 2023, in Stuart, expanding its ability to offer hands-on education in gardening, nutrition, and healthy living. Sponsored by the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, the classroom makes use of the campus’ park-like garden to enhance learning while supporting revitalization efforts in the Golden Gate community. Leaders say the space will help residents connect with culturally relevant crops and build healthier habits through interactive outdoor classes.
