Stamp Out Hunger 2025 Was a Success!
During the second week of May, our community came together in an extraordinary way for the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive — the largest one-day food drive in the nation. We're still feeling the joy and gratitude from this incredible event!
We extend our deepest thanks to our amazing local Letter Carriers and postal workers, who not only deliver our mail but also go the extra mile to collect non-perishable food items donated by local residents at their mailboxes. Thanks to their dedication and hard work, this year’s food drive brought in over 57,000 pounds of food across Martin County!
We also want to show gratitude to our wonderful volunteers, who helped make this event happen to provide food for those in need.
To every household that gave, to every postal employee who lifted a bag, and to every volunteer who lent a hand — thank you. Together, you have made a powerful impact in the fight against hunger in our community!
This incredible outpouring of generosity helps ensure our pantry shelves remain stocked through the difficult summer months, when the need often rises.
Let’s keep the momentum going!
Thousands of pounds of food now need sorting — and we need your help! If you're interested in volunteering or planning a group sorting project, please contact Natasha at natasha@hohmartin.org.
