Youth Education Programs

House of Hope’s Enrichment Centers and Nutrition Education program offer a wide variety of engaging no-cost classes, workshops, and services for youth in Martin County.  Many of these programs are facilitated by partner agencies that are subject-matter experts and many are facilitated by House of Hope staff or volunteers.

Services vary at each site and change to reflect the needs of the community.

Examples of opportunities include:

  • Homework Helpers  Students below a 3rd grade level work with trained volunteers.
  • Paws 2 Read  Improve literacy and fluency by reading to a therapy pet.
  • Art 4 Kids  Create art with a variety of mediums.
  • Let’s Start Learning  Kindergarten readiness program for kids ages 2 to 4 years old.
  • Family Cooking Classes  Learn easy ways to practice healthy habits for the family.
  • Computer Lab with free printing  Complete homework or research, and access free printing.
  • Free Book Nook  Kids can receive free books!
  • Gardening & Nutrition Classes  Learn about where your food comes from and why it’s important to make healthy choices.
